Startup/Commissioning Technician

Job description

Job Summary: To implement the processes by which projects are started up, sequenced, commissioned, turned over, and warrantied. To train customer facilities personnel in the proper operation and maintenance of installed systems and equipment and provide response and support for warranty requests. Responsibilities: LEADERSHIP - Ability to lead crew in the direction most productive for the timely completion of the job while following the project commissioning process. - Motivate the crew to the highest level. Qualifications: Essential Functions: Include the following, but not limited to - Completes startup forms for equipment as required. - Works with factory startup technicians and obtains forms as required. - Keeps file in a concise, orderly manner. - Documents all job-related occurrences. - Keeps a daily record. - Uses Autodesk Build for QC/QA processes. - Two years of mechanical service, equipment startup, or Commissioning experience. - Current driver’s license. - Must be able to travel throughout regional projects - Maintain a high level of understanding of total HVAC and Plumbing installation and operation, equipment capabilities, and controls systems architecture and sequences...
