Registered Nurse - House Supervisor

Job description

The House Supervisor works in collaboration with Nurse Managers to coordinate, supervise and perform operational tasks within specific departments. This person is also responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and evaluating nursing activities of the Med/Surg department. The House Supervisor is a resource who makes leadership decisions when department managers are not present, as well as supervises patient care in Med/Surg, High Obs, OB, ER and Behavioral Health. The Registered Nurse (RN) in Amery Hospital & Clinic's Emergency Department provides care in the outpatient setting aimed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. The RN also employs the use of evidence-based information to achieve and ensure patient safety and quality of care while assisting to improve patient outcomes.
