Mental Health Technicians are responsible for the following: Mental Health Technicians will maintain a full patient caseload with an assigned primary nurse in an inpatient setting, and provide care for all patients effectively and compassionately. - Assists the RN in delivering care, observing patient behaviors, and more. - Reports/documents any changes in patients mood or behavior in a timely fashion. - Provides one-on-one sessions with assigned patients as needed. Qualifications for this position include: - For Philadelphia County Jefferson campuses - Completion of a supervised mental health or addiction practicum and completion of 12 college credits in the social sciences + 2 years of experience in mental health or addictions care required - One-year experience with behavioral health clients preferred - BLS certified required - Behavioral management training...
