Job description
Purpose of the Role The Assistant Procurement Manager is to work closely with the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Business Partner, the Supplier Relationship management team and the third party procurement business to implement category strategies and complete tenders at property and portfolio level across Commercial and Residential properties. They are a key point of contact within the Supply Chain team , ensuring procurement processes are completed efficiently, accurately aligned with timelines, governance standards, and strategic objectives and in line with regulatory and company standards. Key Responsibilities: · Category Strategies: Support the Supplier Relationship lead, Procurement Business Partner and Procurement Manager in the implementation of the category strategy for each service /sector. · Complete the end to end procurement process to include :the setup of the procurement system, arranging supplier visits, conducting commercial analysis of supplier bids, completing the tender reports and undertaking contract negotiations and awarding the contract. · Tender Preparation: – Prior to the commencement of the tender ensure the objectives of the tender is fully understo...
