Staff Physician (OB/GYN)

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care including but not limited to contraception, abortion and miscarriage management (medication and procedural), gender affirming hormone therapy, colposcopy and LEEP, general office gynecology, ultrasound, well-person examinations, and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted and other infections. Provides care in alignment with the Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY) Manual of Medical Standards and Guidelines (MS&Gs). Experience in comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services preferred; PPGNY will train new staff in services as appropriate. Position may be full- or part-time. Position will involve travel to health centers in the employee’s region. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative (5%): Attends required agency didactics.
