The Songwriting & Expressive Arts instructor role is designed for an educator-artist who thrives at the intersection of music, creativity, and personal growth. The instructor will guide students through the art of songwriting, performance, and expressive practices that promote self-discovery, collaboration, and confidence. - Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that integrate songwriting, stage presence, and mediation, fostering both artistic and personal expression. - Lead students in creative exercises and interactive activities that build technical skills in songwriting and performance while deepening self-awareness. - Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages peer connection, artistic exploration, and confidence-building. - Empower students to express themselves authentically, supporting both personal and artistic growth through music and the expressive arts. - Serve as a mentor and facilitator, helping students develop their voices, embrace their creativity, and build meaningful connections through the arts.
