Job Description: About the Team: The WSJ Opinion section's mission is to inform readers about the news of the day with a consistent philosophy that can be summed up as "free people and free markets." While we aim to inform and persuade, we seek to encourage debate across the political spectrum. WSJ Opinion offers original analysis and strong points of view on the news of the day. About the Role: The Wall Street Journal Opinion section is looking for a New York-based social media editor to join our growing digital team. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with some of the best opinion writers and editors in the industry to ensure that the section's social and off-platform content reaches and engages our audience effectively. This role will focus on executing daily social promotion, optimizing performance using data insights, and contributing to audience growth efforts across platforms. The social media editor will work closely with the Managing Editor and audience team to support broader distribution strategies.
