Position Summary: Vallen is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-time Environmental Health and Safety Intern, with a heavy focus in industrial hygiene, to help ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This role involves conducting inspections, analyzing workplace conditions, and supporting the implementation of health and safety programs. Essential job duties and Responsibilities: - Exposure Monitoring - The Technician will be responsible for the completion of sampling surveys as outlined by the area Industrial Hygiene Advisor. - Assigned surveys will be structured to include the Site, Similar Exposure Group, Sub-Similar Exposure Group, Agent / Agent Group, required number of samples, and relevant due dates for sample collection, laboratory analysis, data entry, and availability of results in the Cority Industrial Hygiene Data Management System. - All samples will be collected according to relevant NIOSH / OSHA / ISO analytical method or generally accepted Industrial Hygiene Practices and guidelines. - Samples included in an Industrial Hygiene survey may include, but not be limited to the below list: - Personal air samples for metals (NIOSH 7300) - Respirable...
