Job description

TITLE: Equipment Mechanic A POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and making necessary repairs to ensure the equipment operates efficiently and safely. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to work with a variety of tools and machinery. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical repair preferred - Willing to work a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts with planned day/night rotation - Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair - Skill in use of tools and in the assembly, operation, and repair of various machines and systems - Must have basic tools (Allen wrench, wrench, etc.) - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics - Excellent problem-solving skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - On-call availability to maintain equipment as needed - Follow supervisory instructions and perf...
