Valiant is looking for a Fire Alarm/Fire Suppression System to join our team! The Fire Alarm/Fire Suppression System p erforms a variety of fire alarm trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of campus smoke and fire suppression systems. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Installation, repair, and inspection of smoke and fire suppressions systems; apply / execute competent inspection / testing principals; repair fire alarm wiring, fire alarm panels and peripheral equipment; identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair; inspection, repair or replacement of any smoke / heat detectors and sprinkler heads; repair and test dry / wet systems; test fire alarm systems using appropriate diagnostic programs and equipment; perform testing on fire pumps and standpipe systems; ensure that work is in accordance with all relevant codes; perform other general building maintenance as assigned; work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or self-generated work plans; locate and diagnose trouble in the fire alarm systems and / or related equipment; use a variety of hand / power tools as well as measuring and testin...
