POSITION TITLE: Pole Engineer DEPARTMENT: Plant Engineering: REPORTS TO: Pole Engineering Supervisor: FLSA STATUE: Full-Time, Exempt, Benefited: COMPENSATION DETAILS: $71-$80k annually: Position Summary: The Pole Engineer is responsible for the creation, review and editing of make ready and pole loading calculations. Reviews and interprets field survey data in order to design and engineer aerial plant. The Pole Engineer will work with various departments and vendors to collect needed information in order to engineer pole attachments and compile application documents. Experience with electric utilities, telecommunications or an engineering services company is required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: The Pole Engineer is a full time, exempt position. The work schedule may vary due to project construction responsibilities. This role can be done fully remote. Travel: No travel is needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: The Pole Engineer will not have supervisory responsibilities.
