JOB PURPOSE: The Youth Care Worker (YCW) at the Eagle Lake Children’s Center is responsible for providing direct care supervision for all children residing in the center. The YCW will ensure that the Daily Schedule is followed and children are supervised at all times. QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSBILITIES: Assist in conducting Intake services to include but not limited to: completing necessary paperwork, providing child with an orientation packet. Provide children basic needs upon arrival to the program (to include but not limited to: a meal, clothing, shower, and hygiene). Must provide line of sight supervision to the children in care and ensure that ratios are continuously met. Ratio is 1 YCW to 8 children. Develop positive rapport with children in care while serving as a role model to create a safe and caring environment.
