Job description
As a clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications/vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc. The clinic assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures. All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic. Work Schedule: - Casual/on call to support clinic hours. - Minimum requirement 2 shifts per month. - Varying shifts Monday -Friday 7:45am-8pm, every 3rd weekend rotation 7:45 am-5pm Required Qualifications: - High School diploma/equivalent. - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (current certification as a MA preferred), current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin, or graduate of an accredited EMT program. - Current CPR certification is required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.
