Overview Medical Director Samaritan Daytop Health: The Medical Director serves as a member of the medical team and will facilitate, coordinate, direct and manage all medical provider coverage for Samaritan Daytop Health system wide. The Medical Director also monitors the professional, clinical and administrative aspects of the appropriateness, timeliness and quality of care provided to patients. Responsibilities: - Facilitate, guide, and direct the medical providers in promoting the philosophy and mission of Samaritan Daytop Health. Inc. to ensure the provision of quality and cost-effective care to the communities we serve. - Assume responsibility for the supervision of the Quality Improvement Program and for reporting activities of the program to the BOD. - Use the CQI process to identify opportunities for change, analyze data, systems and processes and develop plans for improvement in collaboration with the Executive Director. - Provide oversight for medical providers compliance to standards of professional practice, current standards of care, organizational policies/procedures, medical/dental staff by-laws and regulatory requirements, as applicable. - Collaborate with the Execut...
