Field Service Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities: - Install, start up, and test Delkor equipment at customer sites. - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic programming issues. - Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and equipment optimization. - Train customer personnel on operation and maintenance. - Complete service reports, documentation, and follow‑up. - Support equipment checkout, PLC/HMI updates, FATs, and assembly as needed. Qualifications: - Associate degree in Automated Systems, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field. - 2+ years as a Field Service Engineer I or 3+ years relevant field experience. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability. - Experience with RSLogix 500/5000, PanelView Plus HMIs, and reading schematics. - Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice. - Excellent communication, organization, and independent work skills. Physical Requirements: - Regular lifting up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance. - Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in production environments.
