Asphalt Plant Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and monitor automated asphalt plant control systems to produce asphalt paving materials Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Assists in maintenance and repair of plant equipment (use of various hand tools, sledge hammer, cutting torch, welder, pneumatic hammer/drill). Must be able to climb stairs/ladders to top of plant. Willing to travel and work away from home when required. Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. Willing to work in various climate conditions, both hot and cold.
