Mission Brief As Propulsion Design Engineer with focus on engine cycle calculations you will be responsible for the implementation of engine models to provide load point predictions, engine performance uncertainty quantifications, and serve as the main person of contact to the Guidance Navigation and Control Team to provide engine performance models and parameters for the flight software. You will be working within the Turbopump Team and collaborate with system owners of all subcomponents of the engine. Your Role in Our Space Mission Key responsibilities within the Turbopump Team: - Develop and maintain modular engine models of existing engines and fluid systems as well as conceptual engines in the development phase for engine load point predictions and performance studies. - Coordinate with product owners and ensure model characterization of every subcomponent of the engine and maintain component performance database. - Provide load point predictions during development and test campaigns and define acceptance criteria for flight engines / qualification tests with respect to engine performance. - Serve as the main point of contact to provide engine performance metrices for the flig...
