West Midlands Police is actively recruiting Transferees to come and work in our state of the art force control room located at C3; Park Lane - Aston - Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for current Constables to transfer and join a high performing team who dispatch resources to Emergency and Priority calls for service across the West Midlands region from Wolverhampton to Coventry and Sutton Coldfield to Dudley. Our staff and officer serve a diverse population of approximately 3 million people and some of the most deprived areas in the region. We deal with more than 500,000 EM/PR (combined) graded incidents per year, that involve significant risk to our communities. Working in our Dispatch hub will give you the opportunity to safeguard the most vulnerable, deploy resources to critical and major incidents and contribute to the saving of lives in our communities.
