About us: The Hampton Transport group of companies, including Hampton Mining and Civil, are one of Australia’s biggest and most successful privately owned haulage and earthmoving operations. From mining, earthmoving and heavy equipment delivery, Hampton Transport are leaders in remote area operations. About the Position: The primary aim of the position is to economically maintain a fleet of trucks, trailers and earthmoving equipment ensuring high levels of fleet availability. This role is located north of Kalgoorlie, FIFO Perth or Busselton or DIDO from Kalgoorlie on a 2/1 Roster. The day to day duties include: - Overseeing workshop activities, including supervision of staff; - Ensuring high levels of workplace safety; - Ensuring equipment is returned to service on time and within budget; - Mentoring trades-persons; - Diagnostics and fault finding; and - Use of Pronto and Microsoft.
