The primary objectives of the course are an introduction to contemporary qualitative methodologies and computer-assisted qualitative analysis. Using existing data such as interviews, documents, or digital data, students will practice the principles of qualitative analysis while consolidating their understanding of research paradigms and approaches and the reflexivity of the researcher. Students will be introduced to the writing of an analytical report according to the rigorous criteria of sociological writing.
