Description Maintenance Technician: Job Description: Job Title: Maintenance Technician: Department: Maintenance: Reports to: Director of Engineering: FLSA Status: Non-exempt: SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, works across campus and troubleshoots, repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, boiler and HVAC equipment. Provides assistance with preventative maintenance systems and special projects. Supports other areas of the Maintenance / Engineering department as needed. Submits daily, required documentation. Five years experience working in a maintenance technician role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Troubleshoots and repairs plumbing and electrical equipment. 2. Troubleshoots and repairs HVAC and boilers. 3. Assists with the preventative maintenance program. 4. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, including but not limited to, local fire department, OSHA, EPA, and NC State DSS /DHSR. 5. Rotates on weekend and night call-back rotation list. 6. Adheres to policies and procedures regarding safety. 7. Treats cooling towers and boiler systems 8. Conducts generator start-up, run, maintenance and testing. Document 9....
