While this team is based out of the Downtown Des Moines Hospital , there is potential to float to the West Des Moines Hospital as patient needs require. Once fully oriented, Resource Pool nurses typically receive notice of their assigned unit two hours prior to shift start , allowing time to prepare for their assignment. This float pool supports a wide range of acute care units, including Med/Surg, Ortho Trauma, Neuro Trauma, Cardiac Telemetry, and Oncology , making it an ideal role for adaptable nurses who enjoy expanding their clinical skill set across multiple specialties. In addition to professional growth and variety, nurses on this team receive a $7/hour float pool differential on all shifts , recognizing the flexibility and expertise required for this role.
