Job DetailsJob Location: Trustees of Thayer Academy - BRAINTREE, MA 02184Salary Range: $75,500.00 - $85,000.00 Salary Assistant Director of College Counseling Thayer Academy seeks a full-time Assistant Director of College Counseling to guide students and their families through the college admission process. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director of College Counseling and will join a seasoned staff that includes two other full-time counselors and one Office Coordinator. This position is a salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 10-month academic year. Thayer hopes to fill this position for a July 1, 2026, start date WHAT YOU’LL DO: Work closely with the Director of College Counseling and the college counseling team to meet the needs of individual students throughout the college process Write letters of recommendation for assigned students and offer guidance to faculty with regard to their written recommendations Assist with planning and coordinating college workshops for students in the upper school Support students and families in navigating and using the Scoir college planning platform Have knowledge of financial aid issues in the college process Establish new and m...
