The Role We are recruiting an Assistant Yard Manager on a permanent basis at our Edmonton branch. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting the Branch Yard Manager to ensure smooth yard operations, efficient stock handling and excellent service to trade and retail customers. You will assist with organising deliveries and collections, supervising yard activities, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures. The role involves physical handling of timber, fencing and builders’ merchant products, accurate paperwork and close working with branch colleagues. Working Hours This is a full-time, permanent position. Typical hours are Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings working 08.00 - 12.00.
