At EDL, we are playing a key role in the world’s transition from traditional energy sources to decarbonised solutions. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Operator position to be based at our Power Station in Coober Pedy in South Australia. This can either be a full-time residential role or Fly In/Fly Out from Adelaide on a 2 weeks on /2 weeks off roster. This position will require on call responsibilities and reports remotely to the Field Operations Supervisor who is based in Perth. The purpose of this position will be to operate and maintain the power station plant and equipment in a safe, reliable and cost-efficient manner. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Actively ensure own health and safety and the safety of others. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and manage site documentation/correspondence. Initiate and lead onsite preventative and breakdown maintenance programs.
