Job description

The Role Marymead CatholicCare, in partnership with ACT Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), delivers the STEPS program. STEPS is a 24-hour residential service supporting up to five young people aged 13–18 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges. The program operates as a step up/step down model within a case management framework, supporting young people to identify and work towards their recovery goals alongside their CAMHS clinician and broader support network, including family. STEPS provides services to young people across the ACT. STEPS operates on a structured 24/7 roster and is currently seeking applicants for permanent part-time positions. A minimum of 10 hours per week is available, with applicants required to be flexible across all shift types: As a Mental Health Service Assistant, you will provide practical and therapeutic support to young people in their day-to-day lives.
