Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated entry level Underwriting professional to join our team. The position requires the person to: - Comprehend knowledge of our insurance products (coverages, rules, and rating) and book transfer procedures. - Regular travel throughout the assigned territory to call on agents to write and inspect business (as needed), prepare proposals, and coordinate policy insurance through our branch underwriting office. - Assist agents as needed with book transfer business. - Regular and predictable attendance in meeting a defined work schedule. - Make group presentations on Company products and services. - Assist with other duties in the department or elsewhere on request.
