Mission Brief We deliver the half of the rocket that stays on the ground. As Manager of the Mechanical Ground Systems Team at Isar Aerospace, you lead the team building infrastructure for Spectrum rocket testing and launches, collaborating with development teams and balancing technical and management responsibilities. Your Role in Our Space Mission - Lead and build a team of mechanical and aerospace engineers, ensuring that the mechanical ground infrastructure is designed according to coherent internal standards and processes while taking ownership of technical work packages yourself - Coordinate with Project Managers to allocate your team members according to skill/experience to projects, ensuring mechanical systems are delivered to specifications and in time - Lead the design, development, and realization of mechanical (sub)systems within larger projects, including requirements management, technical coordination, documentation, design reviews, compliance evaluation, and support during commissioning activities - Serve as the technical point of contact for external stakeholders, perform trade-off analyses, conduct on-site coordination at construction/test sites, and ensure proactiv...
