Guardian Australia is part of Guardian News & Media (GNM), publisher of theguardian.com. As a leading global media organisation, we are renowned for our pioneering independent journalism and our award-winning digital products. We are seeking a multimedia producer to join our Editorial team to edit hosted vertical videos as part of Guardian Australia’s off-platform offerings, and to work in consultation with multimedia editors to take Guardian Australia journalism to new audiences off-platform in creative and engaging ways. This role is being offered on a full-time 12 month contract, with early starts and/or late finishes. This role is open to candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne. In this role you will…: You’ll bring…. - Edit hosted short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, Youtube Shorts and Linkedin - Pitch and create compelling video and static content for social platforms including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn, with approval and sign off from multimedia editors - Work with Guardian Australia’s video editors to produce high-quality video reports for onsite and other social channels - Use Adobe Premiere Pro to a high standard to edit accurately and quickly for audienc...
