Nurse Practitioner Compensation and Benefits: Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $10,047 - $10,452 per month (Steps 1-3) Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $10,047 - $14,636 per month The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse who works as a primary care provider in ambulatory care clinics in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and nursing standards of care assessment of health status, diagnosis, develops/implements plan of care/treatment, and evaluates patient outcomes. They provide general and preventive health care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses/minor injuries, order lab/x-ray tests, and make referrals to health providers in the community and to specialty services within the health center.
