Job description

Job Purpose As a live-in member of the residence life hall staff, the Village Coordinator (VC) manages the day-to-day operations of a residential area and creates a community that supports student learning, development, and success. This role is active from July 2026 - June 2027, with the ability to continue if still enrolled in graduate courses. Duties and Responsibilities: ● Supervise and provide guidance, education, and training to resident assistants ● Creates a community that promotes respect and learning ● Oversee programming and administrative requirements for resident assistant staff ● Accurately maintain all housing administrative records related to students in areas of responsibility, including ongoing audit of Health and Safety Inspections ● Serve on an on-call duty rotation to address campus issues and emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays ● Respond to emergency/critical incidents related to students in the hall per Residence Life emergency procedures ● Oversee the overall general upkeep and facility care of the assigned area, including regular walk-through tours of the residence hall building to effectively monitor the conditions of the facilities ● W...
