Job Description Delivery Driver (Zero Hours) Location: Telford: Contract Type: Zero Hours Contract: Job Purpose: The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional collection and delivery of laundry, workwear, and related products to customer sites. This role operates on a zero-hours basis, meaning hours are offered in line with business demand and there is no obligation on the Company to offer work, nor on the individual to accept it. Key Responsibilities: - Collect and deliver goods to customer sites in accordance with planned delivery routes and schedules - Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring goods are secured and handled with care - Complete vehicle checks prior to use and report defects promptly - Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork, and digital tracking where required - Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times - Adhere to all road traffic laws, driver hours rules, and Company policies - Follow health & safety procedures, including manual handling and safe vehicle operation - Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of Company vehicles - Communicate effectively with transport, production, and site teams regardin...
