Description The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for one full-time lecturer position in Korean starting Fall 2026. The position is a non-tenure-track appointment and does not lead to future tenure considerations. This is a renewable appointment. Reappointment to this position, beyond AY 2026-2027, is contingent on the candidate’s satisfactory performance and upon the college’s continuing need for their services. A strong internal candidate has been identified. Case Western Reserve University is a nationally top-ranked private research institution located in Cleveland, Ohio. We seek candidates who are specialized in Korean language education, open to new methodologies and technologies, and wish to join a growing language program. All candidates will receive thorough, fair, and impartial consideration in accordance with university hiring policies. Primary teaching duties are three courses each semester at all levels of Korean language and culture. The annual starting base salary range for this position is from $52,780 to $54,080.
