Role Type Contract • Full-time • Architect / Technical Lead Sydney, NSW: Description: Software@Scale is partnering with a large enterprise client on a major VMware Cloud Foundation migration, automation and private cloud uplift program . We are seeking a VMware Cloud Foundation Architect / Technical Lead to help shape the architecture, planning and delivery of a large-scale VCF transformation. This role is suited to someone who can operate above the tools — setting direction, defining target-state designs, guiding technical streams, and working with senior stakeholders — while still being hands-on enough to understand the detail. The program will focus on uplifting the client’s VMware Cloud Foundation environment, with a strong emphasis on architecture readiness, automation, Infrastructure as Code, operations, visibility, multi-tenancy and networking. This is not a pure delivery engineering role. We are looking for someone who can lead architecture, challenge assumptions, guide senior engineers and help drive the program from current-state assessment through to future-state design and delivery readiness.
