KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Act as the main point of contact for supply vendors, coordinating vendor days, scheduling reviews, and negotiating programs (specials, rebates). - Review and analyze product performance within each category, planning for new additions, replacements, or returns. - Regularly shop competitors, attend industry trade shows, and analyze trends to identify new product opportunities. - Develop and deliver Product Knowledge (PK) training to staff on all supplied products to improve sales competence. - Review display areas across all branches to maximize space, and develop promotional strategies for slow-moving goods. - Create upsell lists for contractor sales and showroom staff; work directly at the counter to gather customer feedback and identify product gaps. - Complete and submit new item worksheets, ensuring timely onboarding of new products. - Other projec...
