Job description

Description Reporting to the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, the Institutional Research Analyst works collaboratively across the institution to provide data-informed support for planning, policy development, and strategic decision making. The Institutional Research Analyst supports the Institute by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting information essential for evaluating institutional effectiveness with an emphasis on equity, student learning, satisfaction, and success. Essential Functions: Supports the completion of research-oriented tasks by planning, preparing, and producing a variety of regular and ad hoc reports and publications to meet external regulations and internal needs. - Internal Reporting: respond to regular and ad hoc requests for institutional data; works with IT and other data sources to write clear and concise reports and dashboards readable by a wide variety of audiences, such as: retention reports, faculty factsheets and salary reports, student/faculty ratios, faculty/staff diversity information, data to support grant proposals, room usage analysis, integrated planning updates, etc. Determines information needs and desired analyses by inter...
