Job description

The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) provides comprehensive care for patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, the APP delivers advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary diseases. The APP also performs and interprets routine and pharmacologic stress tests and supports the hospital’s cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic programs. Responsibilities: - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary disorders, including heart failure, COPD, asthma, and post-procedural cardiac follow-up. - Independently perform and monitor cardiac stress tests (exercise and pharmacologic) in coordination with supervising physicians and cardiology partners. - Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based guidelines. - Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as ECGs, echocardiograms, pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and relevant laboratory tests. - Provide...
