Job description

Job type: Per Diem Shift: Rotate: Responsible for operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body. Positions and instructs the patient for radiologic or fluoroscopic exams, adjusts x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage, current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. Ensures all hospital mandated safety precautions are followed. Performs other duties as required. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: State of California Certification in Radiologic Technology, Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (preferred); and Healthcare Provider BLS. EXPERIENCE: 0-3 Months SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
