Director Extended Learning - ( 260000NU ) Description Job Overview The Director Extended Learning will provide leadership and direction over the operation of a non-profit enterprise business whereby revenues must be generated to cover all the operating expenditures, while providing extended learning opportunities in support of the District's mission. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership: - Direct the operational and programmatic aspects related to Extended Learning program(s) - Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines for Extended Learning program(s), systems and projects - Develop other Extended Learning opportunities including summer camps and community education for adults - Facilitate the construction, maintenance and repair of the program(s)’ physical spaces - Plan, organize and direct activities of department staff - Originate and provide input for new and innovative program initiatives; assist with long- and short-term planning for the Extended Learning Department - Work in collaboration to develop and deliver training to staff - Participate in national, state, and local conventions, seminars, meetings, and workshops as appr...
