Job Summary A Route Driver is responsible for the operation of a grease collection truck to collect used cooking oil, and/or a fat and bone collection truck for the removal and collection of raw material(s) from customer locations and coming back to our facility in Columbus IN. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. - Pump Grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; lock and secure container with screen, lid, and lock; notes any damages to container or corral area; properly completes route ticket with customer signature. - Empties customer's Grease Trap utilizing a company vehicle by pumping trap contents into attached Tank. Ensures cleanliness of trap area; cleans all spilled grease if necessary. - Fat and Bone removal routes collect and inspect raw material(s) at time of pick up for any foreign or hazardous material at customer location's (local routes, some overnight). - Required to maintain an electronic DOT log, paper log only if electronic log book is inoperable. - Provides customer with receipt of pick-up and obtains...
