Job Overview The Manager Safety & Environmental/ Facilities inspects work areas, products, and employee work habits to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies (e.g. OSHA and EPA) which will require the application of engineering principles and technology to analyze and control conditions contributing to occupational hazards and diseases by performing the duties and responsibilities listed below. Also, supervises internal maintenance and janitorial technicians as well as oversees contractors and outside services as it relates to routine operation of the facility. In this hands-on role, this person will also execute the tactical aspects of security, maintenance, and project management of the building while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements for operation. A Day In The Life: biological hazards at the facility. chemical exposure, smoke, fumes, noise, temperatures, dusts, solvents, and potential ergonomic issues.
