Maths Tutor 📍 Location: Leicester Training Centre LE1 6TF 💼 Contract: Permanent (4 days per week, Monday–Thursday) 💰 Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 FTE ( pro rata for 4 days - £22,400 - £28,000 ) About the Role: We’re looking for a passionate and engaging Maths Tutor to join our team at Juniper. This is a fantastic opportunity to work a 4-day week (Monday–Thursday) while delivering high-quality teaching to young people aged 16–18. You’ll support learners to achieve Functional Skills and GCSE Maths , helping them build confidence and progress into further education or employment. Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging, innovative group sessions in Maths (Functional Skills & GCSE) Plan lessons tailored to curriculum standards and individual learner needs Embed knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) into sessions Enhance learning through enrichment activities and external speakers Provide cover for other tutors where required Assessment & Progress: Conduct initial assessments and develop individual support plans Mark and assess work, providing constructive feedback (including SPaG) Track learner progress through reviews, mock exams and assessments Prepare learners for...
