Position Summary: The IT Intern advances the mission of Barber National Institute by supporting responsible, innovative, and value-driven use of technology across the organization. This role provides structured exposure to core IT functions while contributing meaningful work that supports operational excellence, data stewardship, cybersecurity, and cross departmental partnership. Through a guided rotational model and focused project assignments, the IT Intern gains hands on experience with enterprise technology environments, governance practices, analytics, compliance, and emerging technologies (including artificial intelligence). The internship emphasizes learning, curiosity, ethical judgment, and the practical application of IT concepts in a complex nonprofit human services environment.
