Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH) is looking for an Aircraft Tech I in Savannah, GA. Shift: Weekend Days (05:00 to 17:30); other shifts may be available Pay Rate: $25.66 per hour: Job Type: Full-time, Contract: Contract Duration: 12 months (w/opportunity for extension) Benefits: Experience/Education: - coverage of up to one-half of employee's medical insurance premium for a base plan - eight (8) paid holidays - per diem split (if qualified) - three (3) sets of uniforms (if applicable) - opportunity to become a direct hire after ninety (90) days - High School Diploma or GED required. - FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience. - Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures. - Valid driver's license required. - Participation in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program is required.
