Department: 36313 Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital - MRI: Dreyer Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday thru Friday some week ends Pay Range: $33.05 - $49.60 Major Responsibilities: - Competently operates magnetic resonance (MR) equipment used to perform basic to advanced diagnostic procedures. Performs all of the following procedures if performed at assigned facility which includes musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopedic imaging, arthrogram, neurological angiography, body imaging, small joint imaging, angiography, and breast MRI. - Obtains medical history from patients, compares requisitions to physician's orders to ensure ordered exam accuracy, and prepares and administers contrast media under the direction of the physician(s). - Positions patient and selects proper scanning factors, adjusts factors to attain the appropriate images, and provides magnet protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies. - Post-processes images as directed and accurately identifies and labels images identifying patient name, medical record unit (MRU) number, and location or position of scan on all images. - Maintain...
