Construction Layout Technician / Construction Surveyor

Job description

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Layout Technician / Construction Surveyor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing electrical construction layout using Trimble robotic total stations and GNSS equipment on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with accurate field layout, point staking, as-built collection, and coordination with project management and field operations to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities: - Perform construction layout for electrical installations using robotic total stations and GNSS equipment - Layout underground conduit, equipment pads, embeds, stub-ups, electrical rooms, transformers, skids, and other electrical infrastructure - Collect and document as-built information throughout project duration - Import and export points, models, and drawings using Trimble software platforms - Verify layout accuracy using project control and survey benchmarks - Read and interpret construction drawings, CAD backgrounds, and electrical plans - Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, BIM/VDC teams, and general contractors...
