Company: Marsh Description: Senior Counsel- Regulatory and Disputes (Australia) Location: Sydney or Melbourne (will consider applicants from other locations) (Hybrid - 3 days office) Business: Marsh Group – supporting Marsh and Mercer Australia across the Pacific Reporting to: Chief Litigation Counsel, Pacific The opportunity: Senior Lawyer -Regulatory and Disputes This is an opportunity for a senior regulatory litigation lawyer with specialist expertise in financial services law. This is an opportunity to leverage your specialist technical legal expertise and commercial acumen to provide strategic advisory and business-partnering support. The key focus for this role is on disputes and regulatory matters in the insurance and superannuation sectors. You will be responsible for providing advice on complex regulatory matters, assisting the business in responding to regulatory notices and inquires and managing litigation (including complex regulatory matters). You will collaborate closely with colleagues in legal and compliance as well as engage with key business stakeholders and manage external counsel as required.
