Job Description WHAT YOU GET TO DO: Set up and run slitters to efficiency, quality and waste specifications. Input data in MPR II system. Maintain visual workplace standards. Assist in roll packing, rewind and lead wrap areas. Duties also include but are not limited to ; Experience: Prior slitter operator experience preferred. Must have ability to run or learn to run line with no guidance from Team Lead or Shift Supervisor, trouble shoot all issues that may arise and be self-sufficient in start-up and shut down processes. Specific Skills : Ability to learn slitter tasks and responsibilities. Computer literacy is a plus. Ability to read measurements as described per specification. Candidate must have ability and willingness to work in a team-based environment, assist others when needed and lead by example while focusing on Safety and Quality.
