Position Overview: Perform machinist duties associated with production of components for pistols, revolvers and rifles. Operate computer numerical controlled machines to fabricate parts. Machinists are expected to have achieved advanced skills and be able to perform complex production work in the following areas: set-up, tech support, and advanced CNC machining. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: NOTE: This list presents only the principal duties of the position and is not intended to be comprehensive. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as dictated by the business needs and conditions. - Performing all general/intermediate machinist duties and responsibilities - 12 hour shifts on a rotating 2-week schedule. - Setting-up CNC equipment - Loading feed mechanism - Verifying settings adjusting and CNC accordingly - Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations - Maintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements - Managing and/or training a co-worker (most positions have a loader/unloader as a helper) - Ability to manage a normal work load operating at least 12 CNC machines - Documenting actions by completing product...
