Overview of Position The AVP, Investor Relations is a senior enterprise leader responsible for executing Assurant’s investor relations strategy and serving as a highly visible advisor to executive leadership. This role requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong executive presence, and the ability to translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling narratives for sophisticated internal and external audiences. The AVP acts as a strategic change agent within the Investor Relations function, proactively shaping and evolving Assurant’s long-term equity narrative, elevating messaging standards, modernizing investor engagement approaches, and strengthening the company’s credibility and differentiation within the investment community. This role partners closely with the VP, Investor Relations and other key stakeholders to ensure disciplined, high-quality execution of external financial communications that support Assurant’s long-term value creation.
